Always A Positive Journey
The Mix & The Timing of The Mix is so Important
dahJah is a DJ, Producer & Mixing Engineer. Not just your regular DJ but a true gifted Turntablist who has been in many DJ competitions with the main one being DMC Canada. When dahJah was in the DMC championships his name was Mo-Di The Scratch Master and still retains Mo-Di dahJah aka The Scratch Master. His Turntable skills are very rare mixing house to reggae to hip-hop to soca without missing a beat.
Since becoming a professional Mixing Engineer those skills now show up in his dj style through the timing of always finding the perfect natural spot to mix the next song in a way that is many times unnoticed until the next song is fully in.
dahJah can get the crowd moving in many genres and many types of venues, inside or outside. He performs (and it really is a performance) leaving you mind blown, like that’s not supposed to be able to happen with those two records. He likes to let the music do the talking for the most part and is not one of those DJ’s who need to yell in the mic all night long, it’s really all about the delivery of the music he jockey’s to your ear.
His style is a style all of it’s own weather on turntables, controller or in the studio mixing on the mixing desk for artists and voice-over specialists. You can catch dahJah aka The Scratch Master on 94.9 FM in London Canada, he’s the owner of KNRadio (www.knr1.com) where he has more than a few dj’s who play live on the air from their location (sometimes live to air as well). dahJah can also be heard (and seen) as of late on Twitch TV. You can find some of his Archived Shows HERE
dahJah The Scratch Master also represents the DJ Crew – The Masters of The Wheels of Steel also out of London Canada and regularly DJ around Southern Oontario.
dahJah has DJ’d in Vancouver, Toronto, Windsor, Detroit, Washington DC, Baltimore, St. Louis, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Kingston & Montego Bay Jamaica and is looking forward to bringing the Positive Journey to many other places.
